Part fashion, part colaboration, part friendship creates the perfect mix to start my love affair with Eloquii.
Let’s begin with friendship! As you may know, Lisa is the writer and fashionista behind MustangSallyTwo. We met a year ago, prior to Lisa blogging however we both shared the love of fashion and shopping. Our friendship bloomed and I was able to witness the first hand the evolution from not only friendship but becoming peers in the plus size blogging industry as Lisa launched her super successful blog. We have had a great time sharing ideas and shooting together that it was only natural to collaborate together.
I had an absolute blast choosing co ordinating ensembles and having our vision come to life with the help of fellow blogger and boutique owner, Stefanie Augusteijn, who captured the essence of our friendship and fierceness.
Collaboration, the action of working together with someone to produce or create something. The plus size fashion industry is about unity and uplifting and that’s what we strive to do as bloggers. In a competitive world we choose to grow and learn by working with each other and not against. When this happens you create magic, the pure love of clothing, friendship and support shines through.
Let’s discuss the these dresses now shall we?! We opted for chic and classic black, because EVERY woman needs one (or twenty) LBD in their life. We wanted to show the size, style and fit diversity that Eloquii offers. It was a no brainer that I choose this Studio Bonded Pique Dress.
From the full layered skirt to the perfectly fitting bust line to the beautiful quality of the fabric, it made me feel like a million bucks! I felt sassy and chic which in my option is the greatest blend of emotion the right garment should evoke.
Please be sure to read Lisa’s post on our Eloquii colaboration to obtain her dress details and more photos from our shoot.
Thank you so much Stefanie for the artistic eye and skill you brought to our project.
I’m so proud to call you both friend.
