Waisted

Waisted

Ok ladies, so here is the skinny on my waist training experience thus far.
As a quick disclaimer, I have used this product for 3 weeks. Waist training is not an over night quick fix to a smaller silhouette. Diet, exercise and consistency to waist training will bring you the greatest success.
In saying that, while wearing your waist trainer, you will instantly be brought in at least 3 inches.

So let’s talk product, my waist trainer is from Vanish My Waist in the style Aggressive Latex “Miracle” Cincher (3 row) in a size 5X. I typically wear a size 3X or 18 in tops so please refer to the size guide. I was able to meet the owner of Vanish My Waist (based in Toronto) for a fitting and tips on how to fasten the waist trainer. For beginners, this will absolutely be a 2 person job the first time. This product is made in Columbia and made of high quality latex.

What exactly is a waist trainer? Waist training is the use of a latex flexed bone corset that will provide gradual waist reduction and re-shaping. Initially, it is suggested to wear your waist trainer for a few hours and gradually work up to 8 hours a day. Begin with 2 to 4 hours per day. Sizing your corset to wear on the loosest set of clasps is ideal in order to eventually work yourself to the tightest set of clasps before having to purchase a smaller product. To clean your corset, hand wash and lay flat. Do not put in a washing machine or dryer.

My personal experience, tips and suggestions. Like I mentioned previously, this is a new practice for me. I primarily wear my corset at home in the evenings. It does take some time to get used to but after your 2nd or 3rd time, its fairly comfortable and getting it on is much easier. Holding the corset with your left hand (side with the 3 rows of clasps) and pulling to close with your right hand to fasten with clasps has been the easiest method in my experience. Trust me, its completely normal to struggle and get frustrated the first few times, do not get discouraged. I can get this sucker on no problem now!
Wearing a thin camisole underneath is most comfortable. This product does not roll up or down, it sits perfectly on your body. My only issue is my back fat spilling over the top. This isn’t uncomfortable but in terms of wearing a fitted dress or top I would assume this would be noticeable. My recommendation for a plus size woman is to start off waist training with the Latex Miracle Vest as the back sits higher on the body. At the moment, Vanish My Waist is sold out of this style (because it’s so damn awesome) however I would recommend sending them an email to request this product in your size.

Overall, I stand behind this product. I believe with proper diet, exercise and regular use and wear you will most definitely achieve that hour glass shape. CLOUD14+ readers will receive $5 off your waist trainer from Vanish Your Waist (Tell them Thera sent you). This is also a great opportunity for fellow Toronto Ladies to fit and feel the product as opposed to purchasing online.
